Guest Speaker: Assemblymember, Nick Schultz
Assemblymember Nick Schultz, first elected in 2024 to represent the 44th District, including Studio City, the cities of Burbank and Glendale and the communities of La Crescenta, North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Sunland-Tujunga, Toluca Lake and Valley Village.
As chair of the Assembly's Public Safety Committee, Schultz has set the course for the committee to focus on increasing safety for all communities in California and building a more equitable criminal justice system. He also serves as a member of the Assembly Committees on Budget, Natural Resources, Utilities and Energy, and the Budget Subcommittee on Public Safety, and is Policy Chair for the Progressive Legislative Caucus.
